Lights! Camera! CLEP!

Everyone has dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Even homeschool graduate and CollegePlus! student Caleb Courtney. In the few years that he has been acting, Caleb has been steadily landing larger and larger roles. He’s a live theater veteran with lead roles in musicals like “Oklahoma” under his belt.

Caleb is not only enthusiastic about his acting but about CollegePlus! and CLEP tests. That’s right, CLEP tests. During one of his senior year rhetoric presentations, Caleb spoke at length about why CLEP exams were essential to his college program. He argued that there were three strong reasons to take CLEP exams: CLEP will save you time, money, and your worldview. He’s passionate about glorifying God through his acting and education and he’s not afraid to let people know it.

He recently moved to Hollywood, where he is earning his BSBA in Mathematics through CollegePlus! He recently wrapped up his first full-length film, Sol, in which he plays the best friend of the main character. During filming, Caleb took a short break from CLEP tests and his studies. The film will be released for distribution soon. Caleb is back on schedule with his CLEP tests and studies and is on track for graduating in just over a year.

Fascinating story and very much an inspiration. This is a testimony that Christians can make a positive impact even in Hollywood. Caleb's parents should be quite proud, he seems like a fine young man walking in the ways of the Lord.

I would like to see a follow up story in a year.
