Jason Manion might not consider himself an entrepreneur, but that is exactly what he is. When he wants to learn about something, he throws himself into it, pulling long hours to achieve his goals.
When Jason signed on as a member of the work-study program at the CollegePlus! office in San Antonio, he didn’t know fully what to expect. Being assigned to the development team meant that he had to be flexible, not a problem for Jason’s budding entrepreneurial mind. Within a few months, Jason became a key player in the department.
Jason was interviewed earlier this year for Major Monday. You can learn more about him on our Facebook page. Before he left, Jason sat down for one last interview. You can watch it here -
"Jason quickly showed himself to be not only a diligent worker, but also a rigorous learner. He gained priceless experience while finishing his degree at an incredible clip. Although this work-study rigor was at times exhausting, Jason’s persistence and diligence yielded stellar business results and academic distinction. Throughout all this, he maintained an agile posture, ever willing to take on new challenges," said Tim Peters, his direct manager.
As the development department worked on new programs, Jason worked hard to master the skills he needed. Ever the entrepreneur, he was essential in the development of the CollegePlus! Prep program, the Learning Network, and many internal projects. Since finishing his work-study program, Jason has utilized the skills he learned here at CollegePlus! to start providing PPC and SEO consulting for other companies. He is hoping to launch a technology company in the near future, but in the mean time, he’s started training to become a CollegePlus! coach.

I've always been very impressed with what Jason has accomplished in his life, and at so much younger of an age than most people. He's one of my role models in responsibility and trust.
Thanks for being a great example and friend!
