College Academia 15 to 1 Democrat

In an election year, the way citizens vote is crucial to the direction of the nation. And academia enjoys a favored position in guiding young people as they develop their views about the world, society, and government.

We recently came across a survey from several years ago that spells out the political leanings of college six disciplines in the social sciences. The result? In one department at the universities surveyed, Democrats outnumbered Republicans 30.2 to 1. The average of all six ratios is 15 to 1 in favor of Democrats.

While many celebrate the supposed diversity on today's college campuses, the evidence states just the opposite.
