The cutting edge nature of earning a degree through CollegePlus! often makes people wonder how the program works. They ask if it's online and it is—but CollegePlus! is more than just an online college degree.
Depending on the college major a student wants to earn, CollegePlus! can work in a combination of study methods. Most students in the program take CLEP and other exams for about 75% of their degree.
They study basic courses like Western Civilization and College Algebra but can test out of more specialized courses like Marketing and Economics.
After maxing out the credits they can earn through exams, CollegePlus! students enroll in a distance learning college and complete their major through online coursework. At that point, they also transfer all their CLEP credits to the college.
A growing number of students approach CollegePlus! who want to graduate from a local college or university. Because of this interest, CollegePlus! has developed College of Your Choice,
This program that enables students to earn the specific credits their college will allow through CLEP and other exams. While these students earn a limited amount of credit through CLEP, they still save about $7,000 on tuition.
Other majors like music and biology require some on-campus coursework but these courses can easily be transferred to a distance learning college just like the students who do all their courses through CLEP and online coursework.
So, is CollegePlus! distance learning, online learning, or on-campus learning? It's all of the above, whatever best meets the students' college study plan. Find out more about the majors CollegePlus! offers to see if one or more works for you.

I wish I would of tested out of more classes sooner. I just passed a business law test with only 15 hours total of study time. If you are military like me, the test is free!
