In launching its first CollegePlus! Prep class, the program's developers implemented a critical thinking module into the course so that students would be prepared to tackle their college studies later on.
A new report out from the Foundation for Critical Thinking notes that the University of Louisville has initiated a critical thinking program with the help of its faculty. Professors say that students have responded well to this new critical thinking approach.

CNN reported late yesterday on protests over the California Board of Regents' decision to raise state tuition by 32% next year.

The Spanish Language CLEP tests students on four semesters worth of Spanish classes. There are approximately 120 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. This CLEP exam consists of three separately timed sections, two testing the student’s listening skills while the third tests reading proficiency.
There’s a huge payoff with this exam despite the hard work it takes to pass: you can earn up to 12 college credits by passing this exam. In case you were wondering, 12 credits equals 10% of a typical bachelor’s degree. This is probably why the Spanish Language exam is the most popular CLEP among test takers.
