New Video: California Hikes College Tuition 32%
CNN reported late yesterday on protests over the California Board of Regents' decision to raise state tuition by 32% next year.
Protests took place on two university campuses, one at UC Davis and the other at UCLA. The UCLA protesters actually blocked the regents from leaving the building they met in earlier, according to the report.
While CollegePlus! would never recommend militancy or disrespect to authorities, we recognize that it's high time for a revolution in higher education costs. Instead of marching on university system leaders, students can simply march off campus and take charge of their own education.
