Want To Go Broke? Pick One Of These Majors!

Untitled Document

Want to work with children? A new study by CBS MoneyWatch suggests that you can bet on struggling financially if you major in a family or child releated field in college. New graduates, if they can find a job, can expect to make just around $30,000 a year. That's not too bad for a recent graduate; however, the pay rate doesn't increase dramatically after the mid-career (typically 15-years) mark is reached.

All of the degrees on the"Worst-Paying College Degrees in 2010" list have something in common - students who major in them generally have a deep desire to help people and make a difference in the world. However, most of them won't be able to. They'll be too busy trying to pay off their college bills. Take a look at the other majors on the list.
