At age 19, Josh Wurdemann earned his BA in History through CollegePlus. But long before he finished his undergrad, Josh had bigger goals he wanted to achieve—grad school and then become a Chiropractor by age 24.

Josh and his parents knew he would need an accredited undergrad degree to get accepted to grad school. But, a traditional 4-year college wasn’t going to work, mostly because it would hold Josh back from pursuing his dream and reaching his goals.
While CollegePlus played a big role in helping Josh succeed in life, there’s a lot more to his story.
When I was young I started working in my dad’s office. Besides treating patients and taking x-rays, I was literally doing everything in the office. When I had the opportunity to go to Zimbabwe to help open a chiropractic clinic that is now treating 2,000 people per week, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I could fit college around my life and earn my degree at a pace that suited me best. Plus, it afforded me the opportunity to gain real work experience in a chiropractic office, compete in sports, and go on a medical missions trip.

And thanks to CollegePlus, I was able to earn college credit in high school which helped me earn my BA in History by age 19.
The CollegePlus team of Degree Consultants did all the work to determine exactly what I needed academically to get into grad school. They mapped out the entire plan and my CollegePlus coach kept me on track the whole way.
Because my Degree Consultant planned everything out, my parents and I didn’t have to worry about anything. That freed my mind up to focus on my studies and earn my degree. I don’t think I could have done this without CollegePlus.
Discovering my unique life purpose in CollegePlus was a defining moment for me. My life purpose is to serve my community as I lead people towards true health and to reach their God-given potential.
