CollegePlus!/Christ Dominion Academy Partnership

CollegePlus! is excited to announce its partnership with Christ Dominion Academy! This enables students at Christ Dominion Academy to take advantage of the CollegePlus! dual credit system to obtain college credit as part of their high school curriculum.

Made for High School Students!

So you're in high school and you're thinking, "Why can't my work now count for college?" Our answer is a resounding, "It can!"

Most of the first two years of college are a review of the 4 years a student spends in high school, so we work with our high school students to help them get college credit for the high school work they are doing. Why wait four years when you can start your degree right now?

I. Life Purpose Planning

If you’re excited about getting your college degree, but are overwhelmed by all the choices out there, we want to let you know that we’re here to help. This is why we dedicate the first phase of CollegePlus! to guiding you step-by-step through the Life Purpose Planning program as part of your coaching experience. The goal is to help you see where God has given you specific gifts and talents that would work best to help you reach your goals or particular career. With this information, we can then help you make a great decision about which degree would be best suited to help you reach your life goals.

II. Study Skills

Studies have shown that learning study skills like speed reading and memory techniques can increase a person's IQ by 10 points. These skills only take weeks to learn so you'll be studying like a genius in no time!

III. Dual Credit

You like the idea of combining college with your high school studies, but aren’t quite sure how it works. Let’s see if we can explain it for you.

The easiest way to combine credits would be to take a normal high school course (Biology, US History, English Literature, etc.), and when you have finished it, study a bit further on the college level and take the appropriate exam. In this way, the work you do during the course will count for your high school credit and the credit you earn by passing the exam will count for college credit, effectively “upgrading” your high school courses!

Cristina"I enrolled in CollegePlus! at the age of 17, with great expectations, and the program has met and exceeded every one. Now, 9 months, 14 tests, 57 credits, and under $5,000 later, I am well on my way to completing my B.A. in English." —Cristina D, Ohio, BA English

Peter"The quality education I received enabled me to earn a college degree in 20 months and pass the CPA exam all by the age of 17. By the time I would have graduated following the traditional approach to higher education, I had over four years of excellent work experience" — Peter B., Iowa, BSBA Accounting
