Dr. Jeff Myers PhD.
President of Summit Ministries
Focus on the Family founder James Dobson calls Jeff Myers “a very gifted and inspirational young leader.” Evangelist Josh McDowell refers to him as “a man who is 100% sold out to preparing the next generation to reflect the character of Christ in the culture.” Best-selling author Tim LaHaye calls Jeff “a rare find” and Joel Belz, founder of World Magazine, says, “Some people bring competence to the challenges they take on; others bring passion. But Jeff Myers always brings both.”
In the last 20 years Dr. Jeff Myers has become one of the most respected authorities on youth leadership development, having trained millions of young adults in the art of cultureshaping leadership. In March 2011 the Summit Ministries Board of Directors unanimously selected Jeff to be Summit’s new president upon the retirement of Summit’s founder, Dr. David Noebel.
As a speaker, Dr. Myers weaves together biblical insight, penetrating social commentary, fascinating research, and hilarious personal stories to motivate and challenge listeners. His inspiring presentations have delighted audiences of teachers, business leaders, parents, and young adults for more than 15 years, renewing their enthusiasm for passing the baton of godly faithfulness to the next generation.
In conjunction with his vision to impact the next generation of leaders for Christ, CollegePlus! is excited about the opportunity to work with Dr. Myers in providing students with a quality education, while equipping them to be those very leaders! To share this vision on a greater scale, Dr. Myers and CollegePlus! will be working together at home school conventions across the country in 2012!
