CollegePlus! | Distance Learning Degrees in Three Phases
Distance learning is gaining popularity across the US, growing by almost 20% each year. CollegePlus! students use a unique system to earn their bachelor's degree through a blend of CLEP and other exams, online classes, and onsite courses, depending on what their major requires.
Every CollegePlus! student is guided by a degree coach that walks them through their entire degree process. This coach is knowledgeable in study skills, CLEP exams, and navigating the distance learning college the student will graduate from.
CollegePlus! consists of three phases that just about every student goes through before graduating: study skills and life preparation first, then credit by exam (CLEP and DSST), and finally online courses.

Phase 1 | Study Skills and Life Purpose Planning
With the guidance of their coach, CollegePlus! students develop study skills in dynamic memory and speed reading for about six weeks. They do this before starting their CLEP studies so that they can accelerate their degree later on.
During the first phase of their CollegePlus! experience, students also do Life Purpose Planning, a five-assignment workbook that helps them develop a long-term plan for their lives. Students discover their passions in life and how to turn them into a career and ministry during their studies and beyond.
Phase 2 | Study CLEP, DSST, and Other Exams for Credit
After finishing Life Purpose Planning and the study skills courses, CollegePlus! students begin study modules for the CLEPs and other exams that make up their degree. At this point, a CollegePlus! degree consultant helps the student map out their entire degree with the major they want to study for.
The degree template the student puts together shows them every CLEP exam and online course they need to complete their degree. Students have a wide variety of choices when deciding what to study. For example, a business major can do electives relating to pyschology or history, if they want to earn credit in these areas.
The CLEP and credit by exam phase lasts about 18 months, depending on how long the student wants to study for their bachelor's degree. CLEP and DSST exams account for about 90 credits of the student's degree.
Phase 3 | Enroll in a Distance Learning College and Graduate!
To maximize their college tuition savings, CollegePlus! students don't enroll in a regionally accredited college until the last phase of their degree. After maxing out the CLEP and DSST exams they can earn for their degree, students enroll in a distance learning college where they take online courses and do some credit by exam directly through the college.
When CollegePlus! students transfer their CLEP and DSST credits into the distance learning college and finish their online courses, they are eligible to graduate with their fully accredited bachelor's degree. Graduating years ahead of their peers and for a fraction of the cost of traditional education, CollegePlus! students are specially poised to succeed in today's business world.
