Distance Learning College: Your Path to a Quality Bachelor's Degree
CollegePlus! students earn college credit through a variety of means like CLEP and other exams, online courses, and onsite classes from local colleges and universities. Depending on their major, students may use all three of these or just one of them.
There are two degree tracks open to CollegePlus! students, depending on their degree plan: most students take the maximum amount of CLEP and other exams possible and then enroll in a distance learning college. This degree track typically saves students $25,000 or more on their degree costs!
Others complete a limited number of CLEP exams before enrolling in a traditional classroom environment at the college of their choice. These students save an average of $7,000 by enrolling with CollegePlus!
Distance Learning for Your Degree
Students graduating through a distance learning college can choose from over 20 different college majors and several colleges to graduate from. While CollegePlus! guides students through most of their distance learning studies, their degrees are ultimately granted by a regionally accredited institution.
One of these institutions is Thomas Edison State College, which allows students to transfer in as many CLEP and DSST credits as their degree track will allow. For some majors, this could be as many as 90 credits.
Thomas Edison's distance learning approach and acceptance of CLEP exams has received accolades from the press and other organizations, ensuring that its graduates have received a top-quality education.
Why You Should Graduate from a Regionally Accredited College
Regionally accredited colleges and universities offer graduates the widest array of opportunities from attending the graduate program of their choice to entering the military as a commissioned officer.
For these reasons, CollegePlus! directs their students to exclusively graduate from regionally accredited colleges and universities. Incidentally, while CollegePlus! students graduate from distance learning colleges, their degrees have equal recognition as those earned from a traditional brick and mortar college.
