Three Phases
CollegePlus! offers an innovative system combined with personalized coaching to guide the student through the following three phases:

Phase 1 — Prepare for Success
Following your enrollment, your coach will initiate contact and begin guiding you through the three major aspects of Phase 1, which will assist you through the rest of your education—Life Purpose Planning (LPP), Study Skills, and preparing you for the examination process.
In most cases, those attracted to our program are unsure of the degree they should pursue. This is quite natural, and we use the LPP workbook to help you determine the specific gifts and talents God has given you. With the help of your Life Purpose Planning certified coach, you will begin discovering and recording your aptitudes as you seek God’s individual purpose for your life. For more information, visit Life Purpose Planning on our website.

We also strongly recommend these study skills courses that will drastically improve your ability to absorb and retain information.
- The Maximum Speed Reading course by Howard Berg allows you to increase both the speed at which you read, as well as your ability to retain that information. In most cases students will double to triple their reading speed within a 2 week period.
- What if a picture really was a thousand words? With the Dynamic Memory and Study Skills course, Brad Voeller shows you how this is possible, helping you remember enormous amounts of information and having fun while you do it.
We feel that in order for our students to be adequately prepared, they need to have a firm grasp on the importance of excellent communication. For this you will turn to Advanced Communication Series. In this course Andrew Pudewa will give you insight on writing college papers, note taking skills, and what it takes to be a persuasive writer and speaker.

Phase 2 — Earn Credit by Exam
The majority of your credits will be accrued through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the Dantes Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) exams. This allows you to prove, through passing an exam, that you have the same mastery of the subject as students who passed the class. Your coach will provide you with our comprehensive Study Modules that list study guides, percentage break downs, practice tests and relevant texts covering the subjects you are currently preparing to test out of.

After you complete your study, your coach will have you take a practice test to determine your knowledge of the subject using the results to determine where you need to spend more time studying. This process repeats itself until the student has proven a mastery of the material through study and examination preparation, at which point the exam is scheduled and taken. You’re now ready to move on to your next subject!
The degree-granting institution that CollegePlus! works with the most, Thomas Edison State College, offers several tests as well (TECEP® exams) which are used to gain upper level credit required for the degree. For more information, please visit: Credit by Exam on our website.
Phase 3 — Online Courses and Graduation
The final phase of our program deals primarily with taking the concluding courses necessary to complete your degree through the school where you will graduate. The number of courses required varies by degree, but normally accounts for less than 30 credits (25%) of the 120 total credits comprising the degree. You will enroll in your designated degree-granting institution and transfer your current CLEP and DANTES credits to that college. Upon acceptance of these credits, your degree plan will be reviewed and the remaining courses will be selected. Once these courses are finished, and all of your credits are complete, you will graduate with your accredited Bachelor’s degree.
