Curriculum Development
CollegePlus! intends to expand the scope and quality of its curriculum offerings and desires to hire a part time employee to lead a team of remote curriculum writers and developers in this effort. This is a short term opportunity based in Moses Lake, WA, and expected to terminate after approximately 6 months with the potential for a more long term position in the future. CollegePlus! has temporary housing available for the duration of this project. Experience
- 3+ years work experience in a business or non-profit organization
- 1+ years management experience
- 1+ years program development and/or curriculum development experience
Ability
- Ability to set goals and meet them.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively coordinate the efforts of a remote development team through conference calls, emails, and individual phone calls.
- Ability to negotiate contracts with curriculum providers for a win/win result.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments within the organization to reach desired outcome.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:- Work with the CollegePlus! team to quickly become proficient in the current curriculum offerings and the desired curriculum goals of the executive team.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of existing curriculum offerings available in the marketplace.
- Work with executive team to finalize current curriculum development plan, complete with budgets, personnel needs, and timelines.
- Provide dynamic leadership and clear direction to curriculum team as plan is executed.
- Overall: Overseeing the “Business” and “Management” side of curriculum development.
