Grant Writer/Program Developer
The San Antonio office of Global Learning Strategies is in immediate need of a self motivated forward thinking individual for the position of Grant Writer with the company! This is a new position and an area of development within the company and we are eager to find the right individual to break ground in this area.
This is not an internship opportunity – as Grant Writer and Program developer, you would be a full time employee in the San Antonio office. As part of our Grant writing program, you will be working under the supervision and direction of a professional with extensive Grant Writing experience.
To be a successful Grant Writer with GLS you will need:
- An understanding and commitment to execute the mission of GLS
- High level of Communication skills
- Creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to problem-solve
- Dedication to the team and willingness to communicate with your colleagues
- Attention to detail, passion for your work, and able to take quick action
- Able to handle the pressure of meeting deadlines
- Ability to be self disciplined and function at a high level with little outside supervision
Specific job skills to fulfill your role as Grant Writer:
- Strong writing ability—compelling and intuitive writing
- Excellent typing speed
- Any Grant writing experience is a plus, but not required as you will be given extensive training at the expense of GLS
- Strong personal relation skills and ability to work with other companies and individuals to reach mutual goals in a timely manner
- General knowledge of Window applications and ability to do simple audio and video editing
