CollegePlus! students can choose from a variety of college majors while studying for their degree. But that brings up the basic question: What major should I choose? This decision has left a lot of people wondering which college major they should choose. Here's what we think.

Your College Major Isn't a Big Deal

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average person will hold over 10 jobs during the course of their career. Other statistics show that 80% of college grads work in a field unrelated to their college major.

Essentially, employers don't care what you majored in. They want to see experience in the job you're applying for and dedication to make the company successful.

The CollegePlus! View of College Majors

Knowing that their college major means little in the workplace, CollegePlus! students usually graduate with broad degrees like business and communications. Coupled with practical work experience through internships, graduates with these majors can quickly become a major asset to the company they go to work for.
