The Government Strikes Again

Yet another education bill is being considered in the US legislature and, yet again, it's a stab in the dark at helping students achieve their higher education plans. Will the bill reduce the student's tuition burden or potential debt load? Of course not. So what will it do? Create a "good-guys list" of universities that make their tuition and expense schedule accessible to students, according to a Chicago Tribune article. Big deal. Students already have access to a plethora of guides that spell this information out. Maybe the government should start subsidizing truly groundbreaking higher education alternatives like CollegePlus!
