As a CollegePlus! student you’re an integral part of the college transformation started by CollegePlus! We love our CollegePlus! students, and because we appreciate you and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help you gain a revolutionary college education, we want to give a little back by launching the first ever CollegePlus! re-enrollment scholarship essay contest.

The CollegePlus! re-enrollment scholarship essay contest is designed to help you win one of two six month re-enrollment scholarships worth $699 each. The top two video or written essays will be awarded the grand prize scholarship.

How to get an automatic CollegePlus! re-enrollment scholarship

Submit your video or written essay and you automatically win a mini re-enrollment scholarship to CollegePlus! which will save you 10% on your choice of a three month, six month or twelve re-enrollment. All you have to do is submit an essay and you win the mini re-enrollment scholarship.

Take careful notice, the essay topic is a statement, not a question. As a CollegePlus! student you are transforming higher education and you’re reshaping culture. You’ll increase your chances of winning by using your essay to explain how you’re doing it, how CollegePlus! is helping you and how you will use your degree to accomplish some of your life objectives.

Submit a video essay, post your video to your social media network (YouTube, Facebook, personal blog, etc.) and you will get a free iTunes gift card ($5 value). Plus, if your video gets the most views by March 15, 2010 you will win your choice of these great prizes:

Scholarship eligibility

All current and former CollegePlus! students are eligible to enter the scholarship contest. Your grand prize or mini re-enrollment scholarship will be valid until your current enrollment ends or until December 31, 2010, whichever comes first. When you submit your essay you will be sent a unique scholarship code in which to redeem your re-enrollment scholarship.

Example: If your current enrollment ends on 9/30/2010, you have until 9/30/2010 to redeem your re-enrollment scholarship.

Video Essay Details:

To qualify for the Grand Prize† re-enrollment scholarship to CollegePlus!, you must submit the following by midnight CST on Monday, March 15, 2010:

Step 1
Film a 3-8 minute video essay on the following: “How You Are Transforming Higher Education and Reshaping Culture”

Step 2
Upload your video essay to your personal blog and/or a social networking site such as:

Email the link to the site(s) where your video essay is posted to scholarships@collegeplus.org

To get the free iTunes gift card and get in the running for the additional prize, you must submit the link to the blog or social network site where your video essay is posted. The video essay with the most YouTube or Tangle views on March 15, 2010 will win a choice of an extra prize

Scholarship recipients must re-enroll in CollegePlus! by the last day of their current enrollment or by December 31, 2010, whichever comes first or their scholarship will be forfeited. CollegePlus! reserves the right to use submitted essays in whole or in part for publication and promotion

†The full grand prize scholarship offered is for one 6-month period of CollegePlus! coaching. Student is responsible for all other degree expenses including book fees, testing fees, and college tuition.



Written Essay Details:

To qualify for the Grand Prize† re-enrollment scholarship to CollegePlus!, you must submit the following by midnight CST on Monday, March 15, 2010:

Step 1
Write a 750-1000 word essay on the following: "How You Are Transforming Higher Education and Reshaping Culture"

Step 2
Email your essay to scholarships@collegeplus.org

Please attach the essay in a Microsoft Word document in double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font with your name and email address written in the top right-hand corner.
