Jonathan Brush was one of the first two homeschooled students admitted to Bridgewater College in Virginia. He graduated magna cum laude in 1999, worked as an admissions counselor at Bridgewater after graduation, was promoted to assistant director of admissions in 2000, and then to director of admissions at Bridgewater from 2001-2010. With this background Jonathan has gained a unique perspective on both traditional and non-traditional models of secondary and higher education. Jonathan has presented nationally on a wide variety of topics related to higher education and homeschooling.

Jonathan is passionate about helping students and parents understand the unique opportunities available in higher education, and how students can best equip themselves to live ethical, useful, and fulfilling lives.

He is married to Kara, also a homeschool graduate, and they are living the adventure, homeschooling and enjoying every minute with their five children.
