CollegePlus! gets two thumbs up for their superior job in coaching me through my distance learning journey. Because of their guidance, I saved a great deal of money, streamlined my time, avoided all kinds of anti-Biblical influences and was able to live at home during my two year journey of obtaining a four-year degree.

My college experience began as a perplexed seventeen-year-old, wading through the momentous question of, “Where do I go to college?” After all, obtaining a degree from an accredited institution was a goal my father had for me, but, as a professor at a major state university, he was very concerned about the negative influences of college, especially those that were particularly potent for wide-eyed gullible females like me. I agreed with my Dad. Whenever I visited local college campuses, my spirit was disquieted by their prestigious, but dark, clouds of sensualism, humanism and antagonism.

Compounding these negatives was the thought of abandoning my family for the pursuit of higher education. Ouch! Of course I would have driven home from campus every evening and tried to interact with the family on the weekends, but college life, I knew, would not have allowed me to live at home the way I wanted to. Ultimately family life was what finalized my decision: if I was going the college route, I’d do it from home.

Together, Dad and I decided on CollegePlus! as the mentors for my distance learning adventure. One interesting goal was to finish a college degree while still 19 years old, which was accomplished. Now, two years and two months after beginning my journey, I’ve finished my courses, and am eagerly looking forward to receiving my college diploma.

Looking back over my college experience, my heart overflows with gratefulness to God for directing me to CollegePlus! Because of their coaching and my father’s wise and loving counsel, I now have a degree without the enormous time investment, debt and negative influences that most degrees entail. Besides that, while I was chugging away at my college course load, the Lord allowed me to participate in some wonderful opportunities such as working for my Dad, volunteering in a Representative’s campaign and blessing innumerable people with hospitality in our home.

However, the icing on the cake of my college experience is that during those two years and two months, I was able to be a part of my family’s vibrant home life.

Thanks so much CollegePlus!
